The addition of halogen-free phosphate salts gives the MUF-glued Antivlam chipboard highly fire-retardant properties (Euroclass B‑s1, d0). Antivlam self-extinguishes and stops glowing after removing the heat source. In addition, the mechanical strength of Antivlam chipboard is retained for a long time in the event of a fire. Antivlam must be used in service class 1 (restrictions on temperature and humidity) and is only suitable within hazard class 1 of the EN 335–3 standard. The MUF-glued Hydrolis is a moisture-repellent chipboard, suitable for industrial processing in furniture and for interior applications. Hydrolis shows only minimal expansion and swelling under the influence of high humidity. The chipboard can be sawed without any problems and is ideally suited for use in service class 2 (restrictions on temperature and humidity) and within hazard classes 1 and 2 of the EN 335–3 standard.
